Popular lawyer, University Professor, Co-founder and vice-president of Assessoria Popular Maria Felipa. Coordinates the "Solta Elas" projects, financed by the United Nations Voluntary Fund for Victims of Torture, and the "Esperança Garcia" project, financed by Rede Magalu and a collective fundraising platform and the Comité Popular Antonieta de Barros project.


PhD and Master in Law from UFMG. Specialist in paleography. For 10 years, he has been researching in the field of History of Law and Theory of Law on the presence of the Portuguese Inquisition in the colonial territories of Minas Gerais in the 18th century and the denunciations, summaries of guilt and trials for witchcraft.


Member of the Time, Space and Meanings of Constitution Research Group at the UFMG Law School. He has experience in popular advocacy in demands involving the right to housing, he worked in the land conflict involving Ocupações da Izidora, youth, traditional communities, indigenous people, the LGBTQIA population and populations affected by large projects, he worked with those affected by the Samarco disaster (BHP/ Vale). She was part of Coletivo Margarida Alves (2014-2016), awarded the National Human Rights Award from the National Human Rights Secretariat in 2015.
