Social Mobilization

Journalist from FUMEC University in 2023.

Since 2020, he has been a member of the psychosocial team at Assessoria Popular Maria Felipa, starting as a volunteer in the communication sector and from 2022 working as a paid collaborator in the area of social mobilization and articulation, especially in the projects: Solta Elas, Plataforma Baculejo, Comité Antonieta de Barros and Esperança Garcia.


Prepared and produced the Festival Juventudes Negras Vivas e Livres project with the collective Desinterna MG to defend life, freedom and guarantee of rights, with the notice Combating Racism from the Bases, from the Brazilian Human Rights Fund (2022 -2023).


He interned in the press office of the Opposition Parliamentary Bloc, working on content generation and social media management throughout the Journalism Course. He produced workshops that resulted in the documentary called "Pedreira from top to bottom" in 2005, analyzing homicide prevention through the state government's "Fica Vivo" program, in the Pedreira Padro Lopes community, in Belo Horizonte.


During the years 1999 until 2008, he worked as a social coordinator in the "Arte da Pedra" project in the Pedreira Padro Lopes Community, in Belo Horizonte and cities in the interior of Minas Gerais, the project aimed to promote black culture as alternatives to preventing crime in the outskirts.


In 2005, he developed the "Flor do Cascalho" project, which aimed to build a cultural center in the "Morro das Pedras" Community, in Belo Horizonte, and is currently continuing its activities.
